QUILT RETREAT

The Guild will be sponsoring its first ever quilt retreat in April, 2010.  This will be held at Camp Quinipet on beautiful Shelter Island.  The Retreat will be open to members only (see your Newsletter for details).  This retreat is not to be confused with our one-day Quilt Camp held in March, 2010.

Attendees will be able to set up their machines when they arrive on Friday and not have to dismantle anything until it is time to pack up and go home on Sunday.  Quilters will have gorgeous water and meadow views on three sides of their "design studio".  Dining will be in the same space, with no interference or disruption of activities (sewing, cutting, pressing, etc.).

In addition to deliciously prepared meals, beverages and snacks will be available 24 hrs./day.  The cabins for sleeping (if you so desire) are just a short stroll from the design studio/dining hall. 

There will be a small project available for those who wish to start "something new" or members may bring their own projects to work on during the weekend, without interruptions (family, phones, etc.). This promises to be a fun weekend for everyone who attends!
